udev rules not running after upgrade ( 6.2 to 6.6)

Latest response

Hi,

I just upgraded some physical 6.2 (2.6.32-220) boxes to 6.6 (2.6.32-504.16.2), and at boot some udev rules are not running. When I run them with start_udev or udevadm test they work alright. Anyone has an idea?

Edit, some more details:
SELinux is disabled.
The rules are used to give permissions to oracle user so the DB can access the discs.
The hardware is HP proliant bl460c gen8.

I'll be glad to provide more details if needed.

Thanks,
John

Can you provide the *.rules filename and the rule itself? It sounds possibly an ordering issue.

Sure

20-oracle-permissions.rules

I tried moving it to
80-oracle-permissions.rules

but to no avail
