Is Satellite 6 supported running on RHEL 7
I setup a RHEL 7 server to install Satellite 6 on to migrate from our Satellite 5 server to. When I list repos I see only Beta for Satellite 6 on RHEL 7. I am wondering if it is only available in beta for RHEL 7 and when you plan to release for RHEL 7.

Hi Don,
The Satellite Documentation says that RHEL 7 is supported.
An ISO is available from the Downloads Section of the portal.
If you are having issues with your entitlements, you may need to speak to customer services, or open a support ticket
Very best regards,
Mark

Satellite 6.0 is available for RHEL 7. Do you have access to https://access.redhat.com/downloads/content/250/ver=6.0/rhel---7/6.0/x86_64/product-downloads ?

Hi Don,
According to this Red Hat Documentation, Red Hat Satellite is supported to run on RHEL 6 or 7 (see important note on that page).
I have only used Red Hat Satellite 6 at the Red Hat Summit last year, and it was running on RHEL 7. I can't immediately recall what channels it had loaded, but one had to make a "view" to make the channels visible.
- I would suspect you have already been through chapter 3, Importing Subscriptions and Synchronizing Content,
- and I would also suspect you have already been through Chapter 4. Content Management and Promotion?
-- And in particular:
-- 4.1. Creating Application Life-cycle Environments
-- 4.2. Creating Content Views
-- 4.3. Adding Red Hat Enterprise Linux Repositories
-- 4.5. Publishing a Content View
We are waiting for RHEL 7 to be approved in our environments before we go to satellite 6, so I hope the above helps. I've only used Satellite 6 at the Red Hat Summit, and can not recall what channels were available on the systems in the labs. But according to the documentation, Satellite 6 is supported to run on RHEL 7.
