Want to supress the winbind logs in /var/log/messages
Hi Team,
I am trying to supress the wibind logs from /var/llog/messages, I dont want to rotate the winbind los to messages, as winbind logs are getting generated seperately,
Need your expert suggestion...!!!

Which logs from winbind are ending up in messages? all of them?
Modifying the syslog entry in /etc/samba/smb.conf may be able to solve the issue.
You may also be able to block the messages from going to /var/log/messages in /etc/rsyslog.conf, by specifying the facility with .none suffix (sorry, not sure what facility it logs to).
