• Which Converged Network Adapter (CNA) devices offered on the Cisco UCS C260 M2 are supported under Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7?

Environment

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7 or newer
• Cisco UCS C260 M2 rack-mount server

• Broadcom BCM57712-based CNA

• Emulex OneConnect OCe10102-FX Dual Port 10-Gbps Ethernet CNA

Resolution

• RHEL 5.7 supports both the FibreChannel over Ethernet (FCoE) and 10 Gb Ethernet functionality of the Emulex OneConnect OCe10102-FX CNA card.
• RHEL 5.7 only supports the 10Gb Ethernet functionality of the Broadcom BCM57712-based CNA. The FCoE function is not available.
