What MPI implementations will Red Hat support with its InfiniBand stack?

MPI stands for the Message Passing Interface. Written by the MPI Forum (a large committee comprising of a cross-section between industry and research representatives), MPI is a standardized Application Programming Interface (API) typically used for parallel and/or distributed computing.

For Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.5 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, Red Hat will supply a copy of th eOpenMPI 1.1 ( http://www.open-mpi.org/ ) that is ready to use with the InfiniBand hardware.
