The command “rescan-scsi-bus.sh –-remove” cmd does not remove dead SCSI devices when Host Channel number exceeds ~200

Issue:

While using the rescan-scsi-bus.sh script to remove dead scsi devices, the script fails when approximately 200 is reached. The script can rescan or remove SCSI devices only to a certain H:C:T:L extend, and it does not do anything if that limit is crossed.

sg3_utils
