Devices attached to the front USB port on my Dell PowerEdge R805 Server are not detected.

This is a known issue affecting the USB 2.0 ehci_hcd module included with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.7 kernel and will be resolved with an upcoming erratum release. In the meantime, a work around for this issue is to unload the high speed (ehci) USB module.
