My Red Hat Directory Server 7.1 is crashing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4. How do I get a core file?

Updated -

If the Red Hat Directory Server process is crashing, it may be helpful to obtain a core file for debugging purposes. To enable the Directory Server process to dump core files, edit the /etc/sysctl.conf file and add the line:

kernel.suid_dumpable = 1

Then run the following command to read the changes to this file:

sysctl -p
