Tuning Postgres after update to Satellite 5.X

In general, tuning a database is very dependent on the physical or virtual hardware the server, the workload on the server, and the amount of memory in use. Values that work for one server may cause problems on another. For this reason, we cannot give a definitive set of values that will improve the efficiency on a Satellite server.
