The process to create a snapshot
In the guest
sync, then xfs_freeze all filesystems that will be part of the snapshot (this works on different types of filesystems, it just came from xfs originally)
# sync
# xfs_freeze -f /mount/point
Outside the guest, create an rbd snapshot
# rbd sn...Subscriber exclusive content
