This article demonstrates how to retrieve a summary of CPU and memory information from a remote VMware vCenter server with the virsh utility available in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (6 or 7).

Following this article requires running the virsh binary, which is provided in Red Hat Enterprise Linux by the libvirt-client package.
