Is the HP545 IB Adapter supported in RHEL 6.5 or Red Hat Gluster Storage 3.0?

Issue:

The HP InfiniBand FDR 2-port 545M Adapter is not supported on RHEL6.5 or Red Hat Gluster Storage 3.0.

Resolution:

In order to use the native Red Hat driver in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, RHEL 6.6 or newer must be installed. To use the native driver in Red Hat Gluster Storage, version 3.0.3 or newer must be used. Alternately, the HP InfiniBand QDR/Ethernet 10Gb 2-port 544+M Adapter can be used to provide identical functionality in RHEL6.5 or Gluster Storage 3.0 with native Red Hat drivers.
