Is it possible to change my Red Hat login?

Updated -

Issue

You would like to change your Red Hat login for accessing redhat.com and Red Hat Network (RHN)

Environment

  • Red Hat Network (RHN)
  • redhat.com

Resolution

Existing RHN logins can not be changed or transferred to different accounts. To enable access by a new user to the entitlements of an existing account, a new user must be created under the desired account. If you are creating a new account or adding a new login to an existing account, you will be able to tie the new login to the same personal email used within the Red Hat Network.

To add users:

1) Log into http://rhn.redhat.com

2) Click on the Users tab in the red bar near the top of the page

3) Click on Create new user in the upper right corner

4) Fill out the necessary information, then click Create login

For information on Users and User Roles, please visit the RHN Reference Guide. You can access the RHN Reference Guide by visiting the Help section at https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/help/reference/rhn500/en/s1-sm-users.jsp (Section 6.9 is about users).
