How do I limit the mailbox size for users configured with the Postfix mail server?

It is ideal to set a Postfix mailbox limit so that it will force users to stay under the mailbox consumption limit. In return, this will take away their ability to occupy unlimited hard disk space on the server.
The default Postfix mailbox limit is 51200000
bytes. In order to adjust that value, the mailbox_size_limit
directive needs to be configured in the
