The CD/DVDROM drive on my PowerEdge R905 Server is not recognized by the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.2 installer.

The sata_svw driver included with the kernel shipped in the original Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.2 install media does not support the HT1100 SATA controller. Therefore, the attached CD/DVDROM drive on the R905 Server will not be detected by the kernel during installation.
