Red Hat Customer Portal: What's New on May 21, 2014

Updated -

We're pleased to announce the following enhancements to our Customer Portal included with our updates published on May 21, 2014. These features, along with numerous bug fixes and minor enhancements, are now available to all users.

Ability to Add Comments to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Documentation

One exciting new feature is the ability to add comments to documentation. This allows you to provide direct feedback on specific documentation pages and to receive notifications when other users leave subsequent comments. This feature is just one more way that we are interacting with you and gathering your feedback. This feature is currently limited to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 documentation.

Enhanced User Profiles

New with this release is the ability to add more information to your user profile. You can include a brief bio, list technical interests by Red Hat product, and note your industry, among other things. This enhancement is one more way that we're supporting the needs of our growing community.

Wapps Updates

The Wapps team released several significant user-facing changes last week. Several impacted the customer experience:

  • A new product listing was added for JBoss ON for BPM Suite.
  • Access to JBoss ON for Fuse was added to all accounts with middleware subscriptions.
  • Only one supplier invitation email is now sent to vendors during the onboarding process instead of two.
  • The "Oracle Module/Country" field has been changed from static to dynamic so that it can be modified to inform the supplier requester about which operating unit the supplier's information was entered into within Oracle.
